Post-COVID Recruitment Strategies: Thriving After a Pandemic
Since the start of the global pandemic, business in Georgia has been anything but usual. Now that the state has reopened, it is time to rebuild. At the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL), we understand that it’s not business as usual and we’re here to help! GDOL has heard from employers across the state and we understand the challenges each of you face in filling vacancies. Over the months, we’ve been collecting feedback on what works to recruit new hires, what doesn’t and how to retain great employees! We don’t just want our Georgian employers to survive, we want you to thrive! We hope you take the time to join us in exploring and sharing some “post-COVID recruiting strategies”. Each training session is only an hour and a half long, but is packed with innovative approaches and suggestions for overcoming the workforce shortage and attracting new hires.
The Business Services Division within GDOL, whose focus is employer-focused service delivery, understands your fears and struggles and is ready to take on these challenges with you! We know the importance of making strategic hiring decisions, the challenges of making complex arrangements to ensure staff safety AND the importance of helping Georgians return to work. As we come out of this crisis together, we are committed to being with you every step of the way. We are confident that Georgia will emerge from this pandemic even stronger than it was before!
