Causeway’s recruitment campaign sends a positive message

A recruitment campaign by the Northern Trust sends a positive message about Causeway Hospital, according to MP Maurice Bradley.

Bradley, who has criticized the Trust’s lack of investment in Causeway Hospital in the past, says he is delighted to see Causeway Hospital being sold as a great place to work.

“I think the focus is still on Antrim and Belfast, and we at Causeway are left out, but this latest record highlights the fantastic work that’s going on at Causeway and shines a light on just how how good it is to live and work on the north coast.

There are currently a number of consultant positions available at the Newbridge Road site including a consultant doctor with an interest in respiratory medicine, a consultant doctor with an interest in acute care of the elderly and stroke, a doctor consultant with an interest in acute medicine and a consultant physician with an interest in diabetes and endocrinology.

“I have always championed the Giant’s Causeway as an excellent hospital with great staff.

“This media campaign highlights that the Northern Trust is looking at Causeway Hospital in a positive light, those days of rumors and negativity are long gone.

“Causeway Hospital is very important to this region, not only to the Causeway Coast and Glens residents it serves, but to the thousands of visitors who visit our region throughout the year,” Bradley said.

“The hospital is a major employer in the region and we want to see it prosper. This latest social media campaign is encouraging and I hope vacancies will be filled in the very near future.
