CRIS Recruitment 2022: The Center for Rail Information Systems (CRIS) has invited applications from experienced officers for the Project Post Assistant (FMM). Retired officer candidates with a strong academic record and proven track record preferably from Indian Railways and meeting the stipulated eligibility criteria can apply in offline format. The deadline for receipt of applications from candidates at the CRIS head office is set at 30 days from the publication of the CRIS vacancy notice dated September 1, 2022.
Method of application: Retired officers should submit their applications (completed application template) together with evidence, including education certificates, superannuation order or certificate of service, placed in an envelope marked “Application for the Post Project Assistant (FMM) in the CRIS, New Delhi.
Selection criteria: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for a personal interview/personal interaction at the head office of the Center for Railway Information Systems, New Delhi. Candidates selected for the Post of Project Assistant (FMM) will be issued a Commitment Nomination for 01 Year as mentioned in the CRIS 2022 Recruitment Notice.

The Center for Railway Information Systems has a unique blend of competent information technology professionals and experienced railway personnel, enabling it to successfully deliver complex railway information technology systems in key areas. The Center for Railway Information Systems, since its inception, develops/maintains the software for the following Key Functional Areas (KFAs) of Indian Railways.

Eligibility criteria:
i) The candidate must have retired with the Post Engineer (SE) or Senior Section Engineer (SSE) held at Pay Level 7 (Level 8 / Level 9 under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme “ MACPS”) of the 7th Central Wage Commission with more than 15+ years of working experience in railcar/coach maintenance.
ii) The applicant should be familiar with the maintenance of several types of wagons/coaches.
iii) Working on Freight/Coach Maintenance Management/IR-Wagon Management System (FMM/CMM/IRWMS) application will be preferred.
iv) A working knowledge of computers is essential
