NABARD Grade A Salary 2022: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is inviting applications from citizens of India for the position of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) / (Rajbhasha service) and ( protocol and security service). Candidates will be able to apply online for NABARD Grade A positions from July 18, 2022.

(i) Identification and mapping of resource potential in related sectors and sub-sectors of the rural economy and SWOT analysis of these, credit-related planning, preparation of sector documents, state policy documents, etc

(ii) Respond to requests from client institutions, in particular Banks and Administrations, for the periodic updating of technical and financial parameters and unit costs of the various development activities.

(iii) Provision of expert opinions, advisory services, consultancy, etc. to individual entrepreneurs, companies, institutions, ministries, etc. looking for such advice. This can be in contexts of DPR preparation, standardization of techno-financial standards with specific reference to new agribusiness ventures such as high value agriculture, value chain finance, processing and value added, organic farming, etc.

(iv) Liaison with national/regional research institutes to support their R&D interventions to develop solutions to technical/operational problems at the field level and innovative technologies.

(v) Liaison with Technical Departments of Central and State Governments, ICAR and State Universities of related disciplines.

(vi) Advisory services at district/state/national level in the operationalization of government sponsored programs in related disciplines.

(vii) Representation in various technical committees/sub-groups constituted by state/national institutions, etc. for political advocacy.

(viii) Provision and concurrent building of internal capacity in emerging areas of NABARD interest and NABARD implemented projects requiring specializations/expertise in related disciplines.

(ix) Miscellaneous – suggestions/advice for effective policy formulations and business plans, evaluation and follow-up of proposals of NABARD’s interest and/or participation. Documentation of success stories and dissemination technology for replication. Any support required related to the technical discipline.

Level A protocol and security service Roles and responsibilities

He/She will be responsible for

(i) Surveillance and custodial arrangements for internal security, passageways, entry and exit points, CCTV monitoring, surveillance, recording, etc. in the Bank’s office buildings.

(ii) Maintenance/Security of Bank assets and (iv) Control of staff deployed for this purpose.

(iii) Protocol Duties.

Grade A RDBS/Rajbhasha Salary

Wage scale

Candidates selected for Grade A RDBS/Rajbhasha will receive a starting base salary of Rs 28,150/- pm in the scale of Rs 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)–46600–EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)- 55600 applicable to ‘A’ Grade Officers.

Allowances

they will be eligible for dearness allowance, local compensatory allowance, housing allowance and grade allowance in accordance with the rules in force from time to time. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments are around Rs. 70,000/-.

Level A Protocol and Security Service Salary

Wage scale

Candidates selected for Level A protocol and security service will receive a base salary of Rs 28,150/-pm in the scale of Rs 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)–46600–EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to ‘A’ Grade Officers.

Allowances

They will also be eligible for dearness allowance, local compensatory allowance, housing allowance, special allowance and grade allowance in accordance with the rules in force from time to time. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 57,300/-.

Additional benefits (applicable to RDBS/ Rajbhasha/ Protocol & Security service)

Bank accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of vehicle maintenance costs for official purposes, newspaper, telephone costs, book allowance, allowance for the furnishing of residence, etc. depending on eligibility. Free dispensary in addition to reimbursement of medical expenses for OPD treatment/hospitalization depending on eligibility. Interest-free festival advance, holiday fare concession (once every two years for yourself, your spouse and eligible dependents) Loans and advances at preferential interest rates for housing, car, education, consumer items, personal computer, etc.

Candidates selected for the positions will be governed by the defined contribution to the New Pension Scheme (NPS) in addition to the gratuity benefits and optional group term insurance scheme.

In some centres, a limited number of residential quarters are available. However, in all centers there is a mechanism for securing residential rental accommodation.

Probation period

The initial appointment of a selected candidate will be on probation for a period of 2 years, which may, at the discretion of the Bank, be extended for a further maximum period of 1 year. All candidates selected for appointment by the Bank are likely to be posted and transferred anywhere in India.
