The Edo State Government has started the process of recruiting agricultural superintendents into the Edo State Civil Service Commission, as part of the ongoing state civil service reforms. .

In a statement, the Chairwoman of the Edo State Civil Service Commission, Princess (Ms.). Ekiuwa Inneh, urged interested and qualified candidates to “apply by visiting the Public Service Commission recruitment portal at: csc.edostate.gov.ng and complete the online application form.

Reassuring that the recruitment process will be free, fair and merit-based, Mr Inneh said candidates are not required to make any payment to any person or organization as part of the recruitment exercise. .

The statement reads: “Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill certain vacancies in the Edo State Civil Service. Candidates for the positions must meet the minimum qualifications specified for the positions of Senior Agricultural Superintendent at Level 8 and Assistant Agricultural Superintendent at Level 6.”

The President indicated that candidates for the positions of Senior Superintendent of Agriculture must hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agriculture from a recognized institution.

For the Assistant Agricultural Superintendent position, she added, “candidates must have successfully completed the two-year Assistant Agricultural Superintendent training or obtained a recognized Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in the same field. “.

Inneh further noted, “All applications must be submitted no later than May 27, 2022. Applicants must not be older than 35 at the time of application and their HND/OND certificates must not be lower than the lower credit , while computer/digital literacy will be an added advantage.

“Candidates may only apply for one (1) position. Multiple applications will result in disqualification.

“The Edo State Government does not require applicants to make any payments to any person or organization under this recruitment exercise.
