Ministry of Foreign Affairs Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India is inviting applications from honed professions with the experience and talents for the position of Consultants (Logistics) in the tourism, hospitality, transport and conference sectors on a contractual basis. Those professionals who have a mixture of experience and flair in the relevant fields, thus meeting the eligibility criteria, if they intend to apply, must apply only in the prescribed application form for the position of consultant in complete confidentiality. There are 20 vacancies with 04 vacancies reserved for each segmented consultant position. The last appointment for the receipt of applications from the stipulated candidates arrives September 23, 2022 (23.09.2022) as mentioned in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2022 Recruitment Notification.
Method of application: Eligible applicants must submit the respective applications complete in all respects and appended with self-attested testimonials, including degrees, government experience certificates, pension payment order, etc. External Affairs” must be sent by registered mail/express post/carrier order by the closing date mentioned above.
Selection criteria: Selection for the consultant position will be by viva-voce/personal interview. Shortlisted candidates subject to meeting the eligibility criteria in their entirety only would be called to appear with the original and self-attested Xerox testimonials when participating in the personal interaction/personal interview.
After selection, candidates would be offered appointments under mutually agreed terms and conditions initially for a duration of 01 years. However, the contract may be extended further depending on the incumbent’s performance evaluation, mutual willingness and depending on the requirement. The contract may be terminated by giving one month’s notice on either side or by paying one month’s salary in lieu thereof. The unauthorized absence of the hired consultant may lead to the termination of the engagement.

ii) 05 years of experience in planning and executing rental of hotel rooms for a large delegation.
The candidate must necessarily be computer savvy and have a good knowledge of the communication strategy
Desirable: i) Relevant work experience. ii) Attitude towards problem solving and fluency in English.
02. Consultant (Logistics) – Hospitality Sector
Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree with higher qualification in the related field.
ii) 05 years of experience in planning and executing rental of hotel rooms for a large delegation.
The candidate must necessarily be computer savvy and have a good knowledge of the communication strategy
Desirable: i) Relevant work experience. ii) Attitude towards problem solving and fluency in English.
03. Consultant (Logistics)-Transport Sector
Qualification: i) Masters degree with higher qualification in the related field.
ii) 05 years of experience in planning and executing rental of hotel rooms for a large delegation.

04. Consultant (Logistics) – Conference Sector
Remuneration: Remuneration for retired Government of India officials, Remuneration will be in accordance with the prevailing standards of the Government of India. With regard to the Remuneration Package of Candidates from Open Marks, the Annual Remuneration Package of these Candidates will be proportional to their Experience and their Profile.
Qualification: i) Masters degree with higher qualification in the related field.
ii) 05 years of experience in planning and executing rental of hotel rooms for a large delegation.
