(NASDAQ: JBHT), one of North America’s largest providers of supply chain solutions, today announced it has been named one of the Top 10 Employers for the military® in 2022 by VIQTORY for the first time in the company’s history. This is the 15th consecutive year that JB Hunt has been included in the ranking.
Establishments that achieved the Military-Friendly Employer designation were assessed using public data sources and proprietary survey responses. Over 1,000 companies participated in the 2022 Military Friendly survey.

The methodology, criteria and weights were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders from the higher education and military recruiting community. Final scores were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for applicants, new hire retention, employee turnover and promotion and l advancement of veterans and military employees.

JB Hunt offers a variety of programs to hire, recruit and retain Veterans. In 2020, the company met its six-year goal of hiring 10,000 veterans and has since committed to hiring 1,600 veterans per year. JB Hunt offers several programs to help veterans transition from service to career, including the Department of Defense SkillBridge Internship. He also works with the DOD Military Spouse Employment Partnership to help spouses find meaningful employment.
