Role description
The Careers and Employability Service at Cranfield University welcomes applications from career development professionals with an understanding of employer engagement practices within higher education.
About the role
The MBA Employer Engagement Manager focuses on developing strategic and tactical corporate partnerships with organizations around the world, with the goal of promoting Cranfield’s MBA cohorts and supporting their transition into employment.
You will provide students with appropriate and up-to-date sector-specific guidance to help them achieve their goals and proactively help them identify their career plans, align their skills and self-awareness to develop and implement their strategies careers.
About you
This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven position that requires business awareness, tenacity and a genuine desire to work collaboratively with employers, students, career team members and University stakeholders.
You hold a university degree or have significant, relevant and equivalent experience in the field of recruitment or business development and ideally a qualification in business studies, marketing or senior HR/recruitment.
You will know the requirements for undertaking an MBA/MSc, the profile of the people who study in this type of program and the employers who recruit them. You should have recent experience in providing specialist adult learning and guidance, as well as experience in managing graduate transitions to employment (e.g. recruitment or graduate development) in a business environment. You should have a strong interest in working with diverse cultural groups, and especially international students.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of current labor market and higher education trends for international students, as well as strong communication skills and able to demonstrate a commitment to improving the student experience.
