NITTTR Recruitment 2022: The National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, has invited applications from candidates meeting the specific eligibility for the positions; namely, professor, associate professors and assistant professors on a contractual basis. There are 14 vacancies to be filled with reference to the NITTTR recruitment notification. The last meeting for the receipt of online applications duly completed by the candidates is incumbent November 25, 2022 (25.11.2022).

Selection process: Selection to the Posts; The professor, associate professors and assistant professors will be directed based on the recommendations of the selection committee and then approved by the Board of Governors (BoG).

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for testimonials/document verification/interview.

i) Academic background: 20% for B.Tech/UG, M.Tech/PG qualification (to be verified and calculated from details/records provided by candidates)

ii) Research performance and publication quality: 40% (to be verified and calculated from details/files provided by applicants)

iii) Domain Knowledge and Teaching Ability (DK & TA): 20% (Judging by PowerPoint presentation and interaction with selection committee members.

iv) Interview performance: 20% (to be judged by the selection committee)

Terms of Service: After the interview and allied selection process, candidates will be offered an appointment duly governed by the rules and regulations of the NITTR society.

1) Teacher

Compensation matrix level: Level 14 (Rs.144200 – Rs.211800) with minimum monthly payment Rs.144200

Level of studies: a) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D) Degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Civil Engineering/Engineering/Technology/Education/Management and First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Computer Science and Engineering. And

b) Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 03 years in a position equivalent to that of an associate
Teacher. And

c) Minimum 06 research publications at Associate Professor level in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journals / University Grants Commission (UGC) / All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Approved list of journals and minimum 02 successful PhDs guided as Supervisor/ co-supervisor until promotion eligibility date; Or

Minimum 10 research publications at Associate Professor level in SCI Journals/UGC/AICTE List of approved journals up to the date of promotion eligibility.

2) Associate Professor

Pay Matrix Level: Level 13A1 (Rs.131400 – Rs.204700) with minimum monthly payout Rs.131400

a) Philosophiae Doctor/Doctor de Philosophiae (Ph.D) in Engineering/Technology/Management/Education/EE/ETE/CSE with BE/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering and ME/M.Tech in any branch of engineering/ Engineering education with first class or equivalent at bachelor’s or master’s level. And

b) Minimum total of 06 (six) Research Publications in SCI/University Grants Commission (UGC)/All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Journals Approved List of Journals and

c) Minimum 08 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 02 years must be post-doctoral experience.

3) Assistant Professor

Pay Matrix Tier: Tier 10 (Rs.57700 – Rs.98200) with a minimum monthly payout of Rs.57700

Applicants who have completed Direct Doctor of Philosophiae (Ph.D.) Postgraduate Baccalaureate from Institutes of National Significance with Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) / Graduate Aptitude Test in Pharmacy ( GPAT) / Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is eligible for Adjunct Professorship.

Essential: Bachelor’s (B.Engg./B.Tech./BSin Civil Engineering) and Master’s {ME/ M.Tech./MS/Integrated M.Tech./Business Administration/M.Tech.(HRD)} with First Class or equivalent and 02 years of post-acquired Masters professional experience.

Desirable: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in relevant discipline

Desirable experience (common to all branches):

Minimum 02 years teaching/research/industry experience in any reputable post-graduate Masters organization.

i) Integration of information technologies in the specific area of ​​specialization.

ii) Publications in SCI journals, books, granted patents, technical reports, etc.

iii) Guided project work of PG students / Researchers (Ph.D.).

iv) Handle/manage international/national research projects as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator.

v) Conducting training programs/seminars/workshops for faculty/staff/professionals/students

vi) Experience in curriculum design/development/revision.

(vii) Development of teaching materials and media.
