It should be noted that the Ministry of Interior has set up an electronic authorization service, a novelty, allowing beneficiaries who wish to authorize others to receive domestic workers when they arrive to work in Saudi Arabia.
The Absher platform revealed that the electronic authorization service is available at 4 airports in the Kingdom, which are: King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh; King Fahd Airport in Dammam; Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport; Prince Mohammed Airport in Medina.
The electronic authorization service period lasts only 30 days from the date of its issuance, the ministry said, noting that the electronic authorization service can be canceled during the authorization period.
Home Office requirements and rules would also be enforced in the service.
