Upcoming career fairs and hiring events provide an opportunity to connect job seekers with employers

Montpelier, Vermont – Whether looking for a job or considering a career change, Vermonters will have no shortage of opportunities in the weeks ahead. In coordination with key local partners, six job fairs and hiring events will be hosted with support from the Vermont Department of Labor.

“Our local Workforce Development teams have been planning with regional organizations and partners to coordinate these important hiring events,” Commissioner Michael Harrington said. “We’re excited to be back in the community, helping job seekers find opportunities, and connecting with all of Vermont’s major employers.”

Upcoming career fairs hosted by or in partnership with the Ministry of Labor include:

  • Vermont’s Largest Career and Employment Fair (with Vermont Associate General Contractors)
    • When: Tuesday, April 26

    • Location: Champlain Valley Exposition, 105 Pearl Street (Essex Junction)
    • Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • May Job Festival: Rutland (with Catamount Radio)
  • River Valley Career Fair (with members of the River Valley Workforce Innovation Board)
  • Central Vermont Career Fair (with the Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation)

All of the above events are free for job seekers, and all are encouraged to attend.
