Job Title: Job Placement Officer/Employer Engagement
Location: East Midlands – Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 (depending on experience)

Duties include:
Engage with local employers, networks and referral agencies to secure, advertise and find work placement opportunities for a group of young learners progressing to internship programs.
Maintain relationships with local employers to secure new opportunities for learners.
Ensure the suitability and eligibility of candidates for the program through initial screening and interviews, performing a comprehensive diagnostic assessment.
Identify any barriers to employment/learning, and provide support and guidance to learners to overcome these barriers and achieve their goals.
Ensure learners are working in a safe environment – completing all relevant paperwork such as health and safety documentation
Complete company documentation ensuring all documents meet compliance standards.
Essential criteria:
Experience of employer engagement to secure job placement/opportunities
Experience working in a performance driven environment.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Experience working towards and achieving goals.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Full driving license and use of own vehicle – happy to travel in the East Midlands
